Gentle Yoga for Joint Health

This session incorporates seated and chair-supported movements designed to gently increase your range of motion, reduce stiffness, and support ease of movement in daily life. Whether you’re looking to relieve tightness or simply move with more comfort, this workshop offers a welcoming space to stretch, breathe, and feel your best.

In this session, participants will:
Loosen Up and Lengthen – Begin with a gentle warm-up and guided stretches, many done from a chair, to target major joints and muscle groups and help reduce stiffness.
Focus on Flexibility – Practice accessible chair-based yoga movements with modifications to support a variety of needs and mobility levels.
Discover the Benefits – Learn how increased flexibility and joint care can reduce discomfort, improve circulation, and help you move through life with greater freedom and ease.

Led by Suzi Geiger, a certified Yoga & Movement Educator and Bodywork Specialist with over 20 years of experience. Suzi specializes in helping individuals manage pain and tension through customized movement practices and has worked with clients and organizations including Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and Asphalt Green.
