Understanding Cognitive Decline: What to Know and What to Do

Cognitive changes are a natural part of aging, but knowing when those changes may signal something more serious can make all the difference. In this informative and reassuring session, geriatrics expert, Dr. Tina Sadarangani, will help you understand the spectrum of cognitive decline from normal forgetfulness to conditions like mild cognitive impairment and dementia.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

  • How to recognize early signs of cognitive decline and when to seek medical advice

  • The value of early intervention

  • The latest approaches to diagnosis, management, and care

  • How to support a loved one experiencing cognitive decline while caring for yourself, too
