The Secrets of New York City’s High Line

Join us for a virtual tour and exploration of New York City's High Line. Discover how this abandoned railroad was later transformed into a vibrant public park. Stretching from the Meatpacking District through Chelsea up to Hudson Yards, the High Line offers stunning views of the city and the Hudson River. The High Line has become a frequently visited site for tourists, and a sky-high route for local commuters, lined with seasonal contemporary art. Today it is flanked by converted warehouses - now international art galleries, as well as residential buildings designed by globally recognized architects such as the Danish, Bjarke Ingels of BIG, and Zaha Hadid of Iran.

Led by Ginny Poleman – A graduate of Cornell University and a licensed New York City Sightseeing Guide, Ginny offers tours for the American Institute of Architects on the Classic Harbor Cruise Line's architectural tours and is an experienced guide for the Municipal Art Society and New York City’s largest art museum.
